Final Contest
Dates for Final Contest: July23, 2019 – July 26, 2019
Location: Delta Wujiang Technology Center & Production Plants

1、All semi-finalists will be reviewed and scored by the judges. In the Semi-Final round, there are three aspects of judging: “Submission fits Contest Direction”, “Design and Quality”, and “Entry and Presentation”. The best 15 teams will advance from the Semi-Final round to the Finals.
2、In the Final round, the competition will focus on the overall performance, creativity, organization/coordination and capabilities of the self-produced entries, presentations of system design and innovations, and oral defense (proficiency and stage presence) for their work.
Please prepare the presentations for the Finals in Microsoft PowerPoint format. The contents of the presentations should include the realization of the processes, system model, principle analysis and simulation, system design, wiring diagrams, electrical specifications, major components and devices, PLC ladder programs, main configuration of the PLC system, used parameters of the AC motor drives, elements and screen interface of the HMI, system tuning method, conclusions and more knowledge learning and application experiences with Delta’s industrial automation products.
3、Since there are contestants from other Asian countries, the slides of the presentation must be in English.
4、This Contest is an invitational tournament and open to college and university engineering students related to industrial automation. There is no registration fee. The Contest Committee will provide accommodation, food, and clothes for all students and teachers during the contest period. Contestants shall bear the round-trip transportation and equipment transporting expenses.
