The 9th Delta International Smart & Green Manufacturing Contest – Discontinuation Announcement
Thank you all for your continuous support and attention to the Delta International Smart & Green Manufacturing Contest (the Contest).
Since 2014, the Contest has aimed to become an “international” and “authoritative” platform by designing innovative themes, gathering more professional organizations, encouraging interactions between entry teams from different countries and regions, and building a favorable environment for teachers and young talents to combine theory with practice. However, the outbreak of COVID-19 has drastically changed the teaching and learning modes in universities and has made it very difficult for overseas teams to participate in the Contest in person. After careful consideration by the Committee, the Contest has been discontinued as of today.
Beginning this year (2023), Delta will endeavor to collaborate with universities in automation, electric control, AI, and other significant fields by establishing joint laboratories, offering teacher education programs, practicing cooperative teaching, publishing course materials, designing university curricula, and more. Delta looks forward to continuing in-depth cooperation and integration in support of enterprise experience and university education.
