Every institution with full-time programs for higher education can select no more than 2 teams to participate in the Contest. Collaboration between students from different majors and faculties is encouraged by the Contest Committee. If all team members are students from the same faculty, then the institution can only have 1 team.

Each team should include 1 instructor and 3 students (including no more than 1 postgraduate student). All full-time undergraduate, postgraduate, and vocational school students are eligible to apply.
